Because와 Since의 차이

 
because 행동이나 사건의 이유를 강조할 때, 상대방이 알지 못하는 새로운 정보일 때
e.g., she is late because she couldn't find her phone.
e.g., my sister and I share our clothes because we wear the same size.
 
since 청자도 그 이유나 사실을 알고 있을 것이라고 예상할 때 (이유/사실 자체는 상대적으로 중요하지 않음)
e.g., please drive carefully since the snow hasn't melted yet.
e.g., since tomorrow is Monday, we should just stay in and chill.
 
Take an umbrella because it'll rain later -> 엄마는 아들이 비 올 거라는 걸 모른다고 예상
Take an umbrella since it'll rain later -> 아들도 오늘 비가 온다는 거에 대해 알고 있을 경우
